What Is Medical Bump Tubing?

Medical bump tubing is tubing with one or more tapered or stepped diameter changes along its length, produced without secondary assembly or bonding. These changes in OD/ID allow for:

• Secure interfaces for hubs, connectors, or fittings

• Reduced profile at the distal end of catheters
